three roads taken:

the premiere of the composition "crossroads/lane" by michael fahres, took place on june 28, 2008 in thorn (province limburg). erik winkelmann, first double bass player of the metropole orchestra, performed this piece for double bass and moving objects. the concert was organised in cooperation with "stichting metronoom".

on may 29, 2010 "crossroads/street", for flute and rolling objects by michael fahres was played by harrie starreveld of the new ensemble. The concert took place in Zeewolde (Flevoland).

on saturday 2, april 2011 "crossroads/avenue" for oboe and humming tops by Michael fahres was performed by frank van koten. Frank played with the radio philharmonic orchestra. the concert took place in Dwingeloo (Drenthe)

but you dont have to miss "crossroads/path"

on saturday september 10th 2011 the premiere of "crossroads/path" for violin and sand sounds will take place at a secret location. the violin will be played by heleen hulst. she played with several dutch ensembles. you are invited to a special day with a special program full of culture. a bus will leave utrecht and will bring you back later that day
